Geoff:
Well, we've had one of the hardest winters in 25 years in the
UK. Here, in the west, our lowest temperatures in December
rarely sub-zero and some winters, we've only had about two
overnight frosts.
But in late December, we were down to -6 during the day; January
was a mix of either pretty cold and clear or warm and drizzly. At
the moment, Scotland and the North of England are enveloped in
snow for the umpteenth time while we reached dizzy 13 - our
February average usually being about 6-7.
Carol, wondering whatever happened to global warming
Geoff:
Have you ever noticed that while your fridge is keeping your
food cool, there is warm air emerging from the back? That's
because of the heat exchanger.
You keep your weather cool in Tucson or further north and
people somewhere find warm air emerging from the back of
their fridges.
:-)
I blame the Jetstream.
