Sheryll:

I don't think I've ever known it to snow in Toronto in May. I did here once, about 15 years ago. Right after we'd had the earliest and warmest spring I could remember. It was so warm that everyone ignored the general rule not to start planting your garden before the May long weekend. I know I planted early and had to go cover up my strawberries to protect them from the snow!

Usually quite warm in May, it's generally the first big camping weekend around here.

Do you know when in May you'll be in Toronto? I was just mentioning to my boss the possibility of my taking a day or two in May to go to the documentary film festival there. Perhaps our trips will overlap (assuming I can afford a 5th vacation this year). :D
