Wow, yael, you really came through! I know the pendant's in one of my many
boxes of jewelry, but there's a lot of it because I've been in my medieval
group so long that I have zillions of strings of garnets, tigereye, down
to lots of cheap little beads that just look neat--people give them as
gifts, etc. Plus you have the costume stuff that was my Mom's. I just can't
remember which box it's in. I don't even remember where all the boxes are
(we finished a room in our house, and all the stuff that had been stored
there while it was unfinished is still piled in the garage in no particular
order).
<p>Is there a name for this type of inset? Does she know what the materials
are? I don't think the clear part is crystal, but I'm not sure it's a real
hard polymer of some kind, either.
