Does anyone know the difference between these two? All I can tell
from the Amazon descriptions is that the $50 game

website (the manufacturers), which doesn't have a link or a search feature

The "playing" content of both games is identical. The one in the box that
looks like a book is the Prefect's Edition of the trivia game. It has little
pewter figures of different things (Snitch, owl, etc.) instead of the little
identical wizard hats of the "standard issue" trivia game. It has what
looks like a little velour Sorting Hat (I'm not sure of the purpose for
this). And it as a cool box. Other than that, I believe they're the same.

The HP stuff at the San Antonio Warner Brothers store is 30% off, so
I got the Prefect's Edition for $31 (it's 46.00 regularly, in the store).
I will make a trek to North Star mall to see what's left after the Easter
holidays, if anyone so desires.
