Oh, poop on you. Bleah. I have "dirty blond" hair, meaning that it looks
brown but will lighten to blond if I spent enough time in the sun (which
I don't, thank you very much, given that I'm in Texas where it's too damn
hot). So my lashes are, of course, light brown, shading to blond at the
ends, and generally totally invisible.
<p>And OF COURSE, my daughter has invisible blond lashes, too. And my sons
both have true brown hair, and lovely, long, thick brown lashes. Sigh.
I've long suspected that there's some cosmic rule that boys have the naturally
thick, dark, lovely lashes and girls have little, blond, weenie invisible
ones.
<p>Not to mention that during one pregnancy or other I lost about half
my eyelashes (!), and they never grew back in as thick.
