<DIV><FONT size=2>When you look back on the history of mankind and his soul 

searching of the perfect religion, have you ever notice that what ever is 

popular at the time, there is always one who has to find a fault with it. Many 

of the religious leaders don't want to mention that there is no scripture in the 

Biblenaming only one specific religion. It mentions when two or more 

gather in myname to worship. I went through a time of religion searching 

and had Bible studies. They all want to say they are the one true religion! So 

when I read or hear about all these groups wanting to ban this and ban that, 

they all should look back through the history books and see all that was done 

for THEIR religion. All the wars and fighting over land, even today over land! 

To pick on a series of great reading for all ages, especially in our home, shows 

me that these groups want to show how powerful and controlling they want to be. 

Reminds of what happen during the 1940's in Europe with the book burning then. 

Then during the time when John Lennon made the statement about how their group 

were more popular than Jesus! Well he told no lie there! Then all the Beatle 

records, books, anything Beatle was publicly burned! I didn't go along with that 

at all. My mother was so shocked by the statement but had to admit it was true. 

So now we have a new group of religious fanatics, who think that anybody who is 

crazy about Harry Potter Books is or should be from another planet. I am really 

upset when someone tries to tell me what to read and not to read and just put 

down what they don't like! Well if they don't like it why did they read all four 

books to get points out of them to try and make their point seem to be the right 

one? My Aunt who lives in San Antonio sent me a long letter from some 

religious nut, my choice of word, that condemned everything Harry Potter! The 

man read all the books! I live in a country where I can choose what to read and 

enjoy doing it too. Dave and Penny you have a great group! We all come from all 

walks of life and love Harry Potter! I may not express myself enough on all the 

great topics on the list. But all this book banning, burning, and that N.S. 

person really makes me upset! So to all of you out there in this group, you are 

all the best people I love as friends. I readall the posts and it is so 

much fun to read all of the different POV's! You make my muggle world a better 

place!</FONT></DIV>
