Hello Everybody...

My partner and I both have our own income, and we keep it that way. Just
for privacy, freedom and security reasons.

Anywho, my Mum divorced my dad before, and I went through it then. I
was five, I think. It just hurts more, because she's hiding the fact that
I am gay from her new guy. "He wouldn't understand, dear." is what she
says. Also, when I phone, I'm not to talk about gay stuff, mention the
fact that I am gay, and she even went so far as to ask me to "sound a bit
more straight" when I phone. Needless to say, I'm crushed, hurt, and emotionally
I'm not all here right now.

Simple things are effecting me a lot more than they would normally,
which is to be expected. Today, my friend Lee said I was getting fat, and
I had to loose weight. I burst out into tears in her kitchen, and left.
I feel like I'm PMS'ing or something.

Well, aparently my step dad didn't spend every waking moment telling my
Mum how beautiful and wonderful she is. The other guy, Lloyd ::shudder::
does. So, I think he's making her happy cus she feels beautiful with him.
I can't fault her for that.

Well, my step dad is really helpful lately. We're both talking out our
feelings, and stuff. He's worried about me, cus I'm dealing with some other
emotional issues (the fact that my father was physically/sexually abusive)
on top of this right now, and it's streching me a bit to thin.

My mother is phoning a lot, and so is my step dad. But I feel like the
parent, laying down ground rules for converstation with my Mum. It feels
odd that I have to be the mature one.

Sorry for laying this on all of you guys, but I'm in a bit of a downer
mood today. I just need to get it out. Know what I mean?

thanx for listening....
