Hi y'all!

Looks like Austin in November won, although some of us are up for additional
meetings as well.

If we make it a long weekend, we could include Cait's grandfather's farm for
a day or afternoon or something (and meet her corgis!). And Cait, I'm sorry
I couldn't go pick blackberries with you. I love blackberries. My dad used
to grow them in our backyard and they totally took over. Our golden
retriever ate more of them than we did! <g>

Getting back on subject ... I could use a volunteer or two to help with
calling Austin hotels for rates, checking out restaurants, etc. I can do a
lot of this myself, but my little charity show has gone into rehearsal, so my
free time is a bit scarce for the next 5 weeks.

Speaking of my charity gig .... if any of you are in or near Dallas during
the week of June 20 and want to spend an evening laughing at lawyers and
legal assistants making fun of themselves to raise scholarship funds, please
let me know!

Getting back on track again, IIRC the movie opens November 16th. The
Longhorns don't play football that weekend, so we shouldn't encounter
difficulty with reservations, etc. I must admit I am a little sad, as I
would have loved to go to a game that weekend as well.

Amanda, great suggestion re: T-shirts! We definitely need a Sweetwater
Allstars logo. Any artists among us?

Hope you are all doing well!

Love & Light,
*Elizabeth*
~ How the heck did I get way out here in left field? I've always played
second base! ~
