Let's get it togather for POA

Ok, crunch time....People wanting to do a "group" get togather for 
POA better speak up now...we only have 20 days left to finalize some 
plans....I know we are scattered all over the state, money is tight, 
jobs are top priority, etc. but with 21 days left to save money and 
ask for a day or two off in a row, I think we can pull this off in a 
centralized place. The only reason I suggested Huntsville was because 
it is between Houston and Dallas, has a cheap theater, and is a 
college town so if we act up it won't be so much of a shock to folks.
  I don't really care too much where we do this, but I want to do 
it.lol We are all apart of HPFGU, we read the posts, we theorize 
about the books and I figured it would be a blast for all of us to 
get togather in one place and see the movie togather<in costume or 
out> and then go to dinner at a cheap buffet type place <or even 
Burker King/Mc Donald's for that matter..they have playgrounds for 
the kids and game systems to entertain them> and sit down and discuss 
the books without aggrivating our carpel tunnel.If you want to do 
this then post back on here where you live and we will see if there 
is a " middle" ground we can meet at, or if we should break of into 
smaller groups in various cities. For those who do the chats and know 
each other online pretty well, some could carpool togather to save on 
gas costs<we need to invade OPEC.lol> and swap off some of the 
driving. I do know that the "Witching Hour" is sponsoring line 
parties for various cities, and they have a "Houston" coordinater, 
but I haven't heard from her as of yet to any finalized plans she has 
either....So if we make them before she does, I will let her know 
what we are planning and see if she wants to swing it that way...Ok, 
long winded posts, but speak up peoples so we know what to do.

By the way, if any are interested, I am still going to go ahead and 
plan a "Yule Ball" for us to attend in costume for the "GOF" movie 
release. Lot's of folks want me to tie this on as a small get 
togather for those who want to do it at the  "Witching Hour", but I 
want to do it here in Texas, because we have as of yet to get a 
convention of our own 8(  <Gonna work on that one too, TX is in the 
middle of the US, would like to see one here.>
