Yeah, fanfic is cool sometimes, if it is well written and too far out there. A dear friend of mine loves crossover stories but that's a bit out there for me. Harry meets Gandalf? Really now!
My favorite fan fic piece that i've read on Sugarquill has been Hermione Queen of Witches. Hermiones take on the events of the first four books. Hmmm....OotP might be there by now, I'll have to check.
I'll check out your links too.

Okay, it has taken me a while to reply to this topic, but I am addicted to fanfic!!
The Sugarquill is going to be my downfall because I spend so much time
reading stories on that site.
For a long time I was worried that fanfic would interfere with my
comprehension of canon HP but, after OotP came out, I was still able to keep
the two genres straight.
I have also written a few stories. They are posted at Sink Into Your Eyes, an
H/G website. I am not brave enough to post them at the Sugarquill, yet.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that I am a fanfic reader. Just to put in my two
cents, The Sugarquill is my favorite site (duh) and FictionAlley is also good,
though I find it difficult to locate the good stories there. PhoenixSong is a fairly
new fanfic site that is good, also: http://www.phoenixsong.net/
If you like Harry and Ginny things, try Sink Into Your Eyes, which is part of the
H/G Network, located here: http://hgnetwork.co.uk/
Have fun if ya'll visit these!
