Adan replies:

When I first read the snippet, I immediately thought Godric 
Gryffindor.  But would he have had glasses?  Did they exist then?  So 
that put a little doubt into my head.  It would go nicely with the 
theory of him being the HBP.  Probably too nicely.

Aberforth came to mind next.  But I think that may be coincidental 
after have JKR confirm that he is, in fact, the barman at the 
Hogshead as so many of us had surmised.  I got one right!  WooHoo!

It probably is no one that anyone will every be able to come up with 
because that seems to be the way that evil woman JKR works... and I 
mean that in the nicest of ways!
