hmm...I guess your right but think about this... If Harry hadn't gone
down to try and stop Quirrel, whose to say that You-Know-Who wouldn't
have figured it out the mirror himself? I mean just because the guy
was living on the back of Quirrel's head, it doesn't mean that he got
dumber... I mean he did kill the Potters and he was head boy... he had
to have been smart enough.
With the snake thing... who would he have told? He has no access to
see Dumbledore in private and who's to say the teachers would believe
him. Sometimes we think that we can solve our own problems or that we
don't want to burden others with our little problems... that's probably
why Harry didn't say anything to Dumbledore while he was in his office.
Book 3... even if he did scare pettigrew into finding voldemort,
pettigrew was already voldemort's servant. Think of what would happen
if Ron and Harry ever faced Voldemort and Pettigrew was there, now they
have one less spy to worry about. And you never know... as much as its
a bad thing if pettigrew finds his way to Voldemort... remember he is
still in Harry's debt...
that fact is key.
does that help,
did I get it right? sorry I write so much...
tell me if that makes sense,
Kay
