I find this topic most interesting. I was raised in the Catholic faith
and although I have not attended mass in years, I do believe that God
does exist. I strongly feel everyone has a right to believe in and
practice any religion they so choose. Furthermore, I think it's more
important as to how one lives their life. How many church going people
do you know that are "saints" on Sundays and hypocrites the rest of
the week? If we are to be judged one day and there is one true God,
I feel he'll look and see what we did what with our lives, and how
we treated others; not what religion we claimed to belong to. As for
casting spells in Wicca--Do they always work? I think maybe it's a form
of prayer. For instance, when one says the rosary, well it consist of
repetitive standard prayers. At times, one prays for specific causes,
and sometimes things work out like we hoped for and sometimes they don't.
As for magic, of course there's magic. All different types of magic
and for the most part the world is a better place for it. I think most
people are afraid of what they don't understand and that many if not
most people probably tend to think of witches--evil witches when they
think of Wicca and therefore associate it with the devil.
