 I agree that Danny Devito would be great, but I think he might be too
 short. I can see Bob Hoskins, tho.

I think of Snape as sort of snake like, so he'd have to be thin and
dark. I'm not sure Cleese projects enough venom (pardon the pun). How
about Kevin Kline for Snape- he can play just about any role. Or Gary
Sinese (sp?) He seems really snakey to me.
