While I agree that a typically evil looking/acting person should
portray Snape (Alan Rickman gets my vote), Snape himself is anything but
evil. We don't even know if Snape ever "went over" to Voldemort's side,
like Malfoy did. Thus far the only bad thing we've seen about Snape is
his preferential treatment of Slytherin students
and atagony towards Gryffindors, and we've seen him do plenty of good
things (albiet not always for the best reasons).
I think Hagrid's going to require special effects to make him the
appropriate size (he's 12 feet tall).
The dementors suck out all joy from a person and feed off of the resultant
depression. As such they managed to bring forth Harry's dormant memories
of his parents' murders (he was present, although only a year old).
