It seems like everyone's mind is running on the same track today. I'm
pretty sure that actress was Joanna Lumley. Someone mentioned her earler
as "the woman from Absolutely Fabulous." Actually, I think she WOULD be
absolutely fabulous in the part! She's very often cast in those types
of roles: Patsy, Nellie Lovett (Showtime's version of Sweeny Todd),
the mother-in-law of Ross on Friends (albeit only for two episodes),
etc. (I am just a font of useless information...)
And am I remembering correctly when I think that someone offered Bob
Hoskins as a suggestion for Mr. Dursley a while back? I think the
two of them would make a wonderful team, if we're going to try for an
all-British cast.
