The most overlooked character in my mind is Fawkes. After all both
Harry and Voldy's wands share a core of feather from him. Fawkes was the
thing that saved Harry in CoS and yet he is a very minor character. In
my opinion we will find out more about Fawkes in future books and we
will see why he is important.
