You are very correct in saying that American Schools do not expose
students to Ionesco. As for your theory it could certainly be true,
as many stories are brimming w/ allusions, symbolism, metaphors,
etc. that most readers never pick up on. In saying that the Dursely's are
Conformists is nothing new, especially in their treatment of the magical
community, and their unwillingness to be anything other than "normal".
By the way, the plural form of Rhinoceros is Rhinoceri (I'm almost
positive but I don't think I spelled it right..)
