They are also excellent "whodunits" in the tradition of the Agatha
Christie mysteries. She's always springing a surprise villain on
us. Quirrel, Ginny-controlled-by-Riddle, Scabbers-into-Pettigrew, and
Moody/Crouch. I never suspected any of them, which made it glorious fun
to be so entertainingly fooled.
