there is actually a lot missing from the "daily lives" of Hogwarts
students. I've never got a sense of the students "timetable", other than
that (I think, from memory) astronomy is at the top of the tallest tower
at midnight on wednesdays

Considering that there are seven years of students and in each year there
are four Houses and some of the classes have students from one year
and one House and some of the classes have students from one year and
two Houses, some people wondered if there are enough hours in the day
for each teacher to teach all the classes in his/her subject without a
time-turner, even if non-classroom tasks like lesson plans and grading
homework were done by magic.
