Hi:

Steve: it has been theorized on this & on another HP list that Godric's
Hollow might well be in southern Wales. Hagrid says that baby Harry fell
asleep as they were flying over Bristol toward Surrey. There's also a
small village in southern Wales that has a name that's awfully close
to Godric's Hollow. Again, all of this is guesswork, but most of the
Brits agree that the best guess for the locale of Godric's Hollow is
southern Wales.
