Anyone noticed the way he (Ron) said her (Hermione) name when her saw
lying Petrified in the hospital wing in CoS ? He was feeling something
deep and strong for her, that's for *sure* !

But there's just no way he could admit it : she's just too *different*
from him, and not in a sexy way : she's a girl (remember, he's got only
one sister and that's Ginny !), she's a Muggle, she's definitely not as
poor as he, she's so much smarter than him, so much more self-assured,
and so *bossy* ! How could he ever admit, even to himself, that he's
impressed by her and even more than that ?

But he's definitely *jealous*, that's a first step !

Doriane (who, just in case you hadn't noticed, is a strong R/H shipper)
