Please, stop underestimating American children. The average American 11
year old is just like any other 11 year old--he or she lives up to *our*
expectations. We must make them aim high. The children will do the rest.

Sure, we can do better. However, there are millions of American parents,
teachers, and concerned adults who are working their fingers to the bone
to ensure that every child is given a fair chance in life.
