Vicki,

Could the lack of what we call formal education in Chemistry, etc. be one
of the reasons wizards are so totally ignorant of the muggle world? Could
they live in their own magic worlds using only magic to get along and not
needing the usual skills we muggles ( I don't want to be a muggle) find
necessary to survive in our world? Thus, they're not taught and so wizards
know less about the muggle world? It becomes a cycle. Just a thought
