Have you ever seen the underground city beneath Walt Disney World and
Epcot Center in Florida? Amazing! And how about (fictionally-speaking)
the fact that the entire United Network Command for Law and Enforcement
was hidden behind that little New York shop (was it a tailor or a
dry-cleaner?) in "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." -- reminds me of getting to
Diagon Alley thru the Leaky Cauldron!

I'll bet there are similar establishments in real life, under the CIA
buildings, the Pentagon, and any number of large corporations.

And of course, the USA has rather a huge amount of "empty" land where
entire communities might be hidden and never disturbed.
