There are a lot of inconsistancies in POA, mostly I just ignore them
because I enjoyed the book so much. But one question kept bugging me:
since Sirius escaped Azkaban by turing himself into a dog, and had done
so many times before, why did he not escape years ago??? He could have
just turned himself into a dog and walked out of Azkaban twelve years
ago - surely no one would stayed in Azkaban just becuase they would be
an escaped convict??
