In my hazy mind's eye, I saw Hermione as much less pretty, Harry a little
cuter and darker and Ron far more gawky and carroty, but I think they
are good choices.

Let's not forget that the photo is a publicity shot - they probably
won't look like that in the film. For a start, Harry will have to wear
glasses that don't look as if they've just been cut out of a cereal
packet. Hermione will need a bad perm to get the bushy look and Ron's
hair could probably do with some more rouge.
