victory-- Stouffer was apparently doing everything she could to delay
the hearing and drag this out.

The longer she drags it out the more it costs Scholastic. She's [robably
counting on getting some "shut up and leave us alone" money, and then no
matter how little it is she can freely say "well, Scholastic settled the
case for an undisclosed figure rather than risk taking me to court." She
and her attorney get something, but then she also doesn't look like a
money grubbing idiot.
