We're well aware of the pending merger. Our decision to move over to
egroups at this time rather than wait for the operations of Yahoo &
egroups to blend was motivated by rather troublesome Yahoo problems
(which are as yet unresolved despite 2 long distance calls to Yahoo).

The precise reasons for the move are discussed in more detail in messages
from me beginning on Aug 24th.
