Hi everyone.

Since we're waiting impatiently (I am, at least) for the next installment
in our Harry Potter series, I've been forced to read (gasp!) other
books. Today I picked up something called "Visitors From Oz". It's a
retelling of the story by a man named Martin Gardner, one of America's
greatest Oz experts (the dust jacket's description, not mine - I don't
know yet). It's placed in Modern day New York City where Dorothy and
her friends are pursued by hoodlums. It sounds like it's right up our
alley. Once I'm finished, I'll post my review. And has anyone out there
read it yet, and if so, what did you think?
