If I remember my high school latin at all I think it means something
like Never provoke the sleeping dragon. Or something like that.

And my response to the salon article is that I personally think that
the author is over-reacting. It's a nice series of books meant only to
entertain, for pete's sake! And I've heard too many stories of parents
saying that their kids are enjoying reading for the first time, so I say
"Way to go JK Rowling! More power to ya!"

In addition, we all know that in one of the upcoming books, the villain
is a woman. (Wasn't that something she was complaining about?) So I think
we should all just ignore her and make up our own minds. And I'm pretty
sure we're all in agreement about how we feel.

By the way, I'm new here and it's great to join you all! This club has
the nicest people in all of the clubs I read!
