Yes, it's massively unfair. However, who's going to have the last
laugh? JKR will make millions, the publishers will make millions,
the bookstores will make millions, other children's book authors are
benefitting from the renewed interest in fantasy books, and there is so
much publicity that you'd have to be lost in Siberia not to have heard
about Harry Potter by this time next week.

It's a petty trick that's being played on a successful author, but it
ain't gonna stop the Potter avalanche now!
