I don't think most adults are ashamed or embarrassed to be reading
children's stories, including HP. We're angry because the NY Times wants
to ban Potter books from the adult bestseller list. Even though the books
are far outselling the rest of the top 10, they don't want the so-called
"adult" books penalized, or losing their chance to be Number One.

One of the Big Secrets of Happiness is to be independent of the good
opinion of others. We don't give a hoot what others think when they see
us reading a 'children's book'.
