DOne my bit - I actually managed a short, sweet letter/email to the email
address - thanks for letting me know what it was...How does this sound?

I am surprised and disappointed to hear that you are changing the
bestseller list into two separate lists for Children and Adults, according
to some circles, it is because JK Rowling's "Harry Potter" books are
taking up too much space. I thought the definition of a best seller was a
book (or anything else) that outsold the rest, and to categorize just to
make more space for the latest dime-store romance is outright wrong. If
Ms. Rowling books outsell the likes of John Grisham, Danielle Steele
and Michael Crichton - all of whom I admire - then her books should
be top of the best seller list period. I thought more highly of this
publication before it bowed so obviously to pressure from publishers.

Yours Sincerely,

Mrs. A Rawa, Baltimore, MD

appologies to phrases borrowed from the group discussion - y'all are so
much better at words than me!
