It's just such a big mistake though, if it were to be Dumbledore. He
really doesn't look at all like him. Except, I have to say, that I like
the eye area: between the brow and actually including the nose except
that it should look crooked. It seems so alive to me and its just exactly
what I thought Dumbledore would have in his eyes, a sort of vitality. (or
it could be just my imagination)

But it fits that it would be Nicolas Flamel. After the research that
someone did on the Philosopher's stone and that jewish legend with
the book, (thank you to whoever managed to find that info on Flamel by
the way!) And we really don't know anything about Nicolas Flamel, so
he could like to smoke a pipe and could have very bad taste in pants,
we would have nothing to tell us otherwise!

And it would explain the lump in his pocket to be the Philosopher's
Stone. Do you think it could be a subtle hint by Rowling of the ending
of the book, you know, with the stone dropping into Harry's pocket and
everything...

Well I'm convinced, and maybe my soul can rest having at least a plausible
identity to this guy, i've been wondering for the longest time
