>>>>>>>What infuriates me is that there is a guy in another HP club
gloating about
how he was at the WAL-MART and got one of those early copies. He
keeps trying to get people to ask him stuff about the book...needling
them when they make their own predictions and saying "no, you're
wrong...want me to tell you the answer?" This idiot is going by the name
 Draco_Malfoy_1. Watch out...he's a real pain. <<<<<<<

How awful! I hate that kind of needling-- it just sounds smug and
misguided. I think it is really important to have good boundaries
and respect other people's experience of discovering things for
themselves. Also we all want to splash around and have our fun theorizing,
right? The point of forwarding theories is not to be right or wrong,
but to explore what is possible!

Now mind you I am shameless about peeking into the oven so to speak,
and if anyone REALLY wants tidbits, I have had a lovely dialogue with
a source on this list who has shown a terrific balance between sending
me little appetizers, yet leaving out the spoilers. We have had a very
fun and good spirited dialogue!

I think though that pushing this kind of thing on people, or parading
around the "Look at me! I know the REAL answers!", such as you describe,
is just not good socializing. Draco_Malfoy_1 sounds well named......
