<<< <vbg> I too have long thought that there is more to Crookshanks than
meets the eye. Animagus? I think so. >>>>

My own wild Crookshanks theory: He's Lily or James' old cat. I don't
think he's animagus, but I do think he's very clever. (Hedwig has set
a precedent.) He's too much of a cat to be human. Maybe he's a wizard
permanently trapped in a cat's body so long he doesn't know how to be
human or something even stranger. I just can't figure out how he knew
that Scabbers was Peter! Why did he help Sirius?

I do have one transfiguration question that I'd love to hear a discussion
on. If it's possible for someone to change themselves into an animal,
do you think it's possible for someone to change themselves into another
person? If so, who? Think of the possibilities with that one! Lord
Voldemort masquerading as Neville! (:

Sunny

P.S. Sorry to intrude. I've been trying to catch up to this list for
the past couple of weeks and finally gave up! My goodness, you all write
a lot.
