I think that's very likely! The use of prime numbers obviously reinforces
the idea of the Magic world being 'different', unconventional, and
adherent to impractical traditions.

I think the vault numbers in PS were 711 and 713 - also prime numbers
- so this prime number thing may be some aspect of the goblin world,
incorporated into Gringotts' trading practices.

As an aside - how about Griphook as the new DADA teacher? JKR did say
it was someone mentioned on Book 1.
