*blush* Well, I've never actually timed myself, but I think I average
about 170 pages an hour.

I'm one of those fortunate people who was born with the ability to
speed-read. I've never taken a class or anything, but I've been doing
it ever since I was four years old...my older brother used to get angry
with me because I'd steal his library books, since I wasn't in school
yet and couldn't get any, so I learned to read them fast so I could get
them back to his room before he missed them. :)

How is everyone enjoying GoF so far? I was in Detroit Lakes, MN on Friday,
July 7, and I saw *two* copies of GoF on sale! I couldn't believe it! I
was tempted to find the manager and yell at him, but I didn't...I had
to leave quickly before I gave into the urge to sit down in the middle
of the aisle and start reading!

I also went to the Harry Potter Party at the Fargo, ND Barnes & Noble on
Friday night, (*waves at Jarnor23, who went also*) from 11pm to 1pm. It
was fun!! I loved watching the staff...they'd hoped for 50 people and
got 400! They were freaked out! They ran out of almost everything,
including books! I'm so glad I ordered mine from bn.com back in February!
