I definitely agree with whoever said that Dumbledore's look of triumph
was due to realizing that V was now vulnerable in some way.

I also think that Hagrid and Maxime are probably going to try to rally
the giants to Dumbledore's side.

As far as Snape, I wonder if his task is to convince V that he's still
a Death-Eater. He was a spy before, correct?

I see the first three books as just introductions...here is Sirius,
here is Harry etc. book four really started the series part of it.
I agree that V. is gonna get more and more powerful as the books go on.
Harry's 'carefree' (it's all reletive) school days are over, I now think
that Hogwarts is going to be a major centre for people battling against
V. let me know what you think
