Regarding the "typo": In my book, US Scholastic, it says "Dumbledore",
not "Crouch"

My own question: When Bill and Mrs W come to see Harry prior to Task
3, Mrs W regales them with tale of the groundskeeper before Hagrid,
a man named Ogg. Hagrid has been on campus ever since he was expelled
52 years ago, so wouldn't he possibly have been grounds keeper when the
Weasley parents were students? I'm running on the assumption that the
elder Weasleys are somewhere in their mid-late 40's due to the fact
they have children older than 18. Hagrid is around 64 years old (13
when kicked out, CoS opened again 50 years later, that was 2 years ago)
so he was most likely on the grounds working when Molly & Arthur were
students. Any takers?
