Here, here! Again, everything takes place in England, so why not
English actors? One suggestion for casting though, in the case of Rubeus
Hagrid. Even though I think this actor is really Irish, after watching
Braveheart yet again. (It's on permanant rotation on cable around
here.) The actor who played Hamish, cousin to William Wallace, Brendan
Gleeson, I think would make an excellent Hagrid. He's got the girth,
and the height, and he does look a bit like the illustrations of Hagrid.

I also heard of Tim Roth as Snape, and considering the work I've seen
him in, oftentimes as an oily-looking fellow. He's got the looks and
probably be brilliant as Severus Snape. As for Maggie Smith as Minerva
McGonngall(sp?) while she's an excellent and highly experianced actress,
she seems a tad old for the part. I always thought of the head of
Gryffindore as being a middle-aged woman, say in her 40's, maybe 50's
tops. Comments?
