Who knows what he might be thinking? The one thing I do know is that he
always seems to have a good view of the larger picture and is typically
one step ahead of everyone.

I am reading in here: What protected harry was the love of his mother,
and Voldemort wanted that same kind of protection. Well, love makes one
vulnerable-- and human. Dumbledore knows even if Voldemort does not that
his strength is bound to also be his weakness in the end.

Also, Lily's love is for Harry-- not Voldemort. Her love for Harry
protected Harry, and though taking that away from him might give Voldemort
the ability to touch Harry and feel some kind of protection as well,
I cannot believe that he will be able to walk around with something that
has been touched by love flowing in his veins and not be made vulnerable.

What this means is that now Voldemort can be conquered. It actually IS
an adantage in the long run, even if right now his rebirth feels like
a set-back.
