Of course I agree that the stars of the Harry Potter movie should be
British, but if they were to use American actors, I think David Carradine
would be a good Snape, and Jack Nicholson would be great as any of the
villains. I'm not a big fan of his, but I recall his portrayal of the
possessed father in "The Shining" was one of the most menacing characters
I've ever seen. Just got to thinking about that after reading the boards
last night and thought I'd toss it in.
