is also Voldemort's alma mater, and probably Lucius Malfoy's as well.
Yes. SS, American paperback, page77, chapter five, in Madam Malkin's shop,
Draco, having encountered Harry without knowing who he is, is making what
he considers pleasant conversation, saying: "I know I'll be in Slytherin,
all our family has been"
> No, there's evidence that Lucius Malfoy is a Death Eater...the mark on
his arm. Snape had one, and showed it to Fudge, saying that it had been
growing darker and darker. Wouldn't Lucius Malfoy have one as well? Also,
if Lucius tries to return to "normal" wizard society and masquerade as
a non-Voldemort supporter, won't the mark give him away? Or does it fade?
I know that people have already pointed out that lots of people who
had followed Voldemort changed sides once he lost. Many of them were
under the Imperius Curse and someone decribed them as 'like coming out
of trances'. Lucius Malfoy is known to be one of the people who came
back (SS, American paperback page 110, Chapter six, after the fight on
the train with Draco Malfoy & his enforcers), Ron said: "I've heard of
his family. They were some of the first to come back to our side after
You-Know-Who disappeared. Said they'd been bewitched. My dad doesn't
believe it. He says Malfoy's father didn't need an excuse to go over to
the Dark Side."
