Back in Book 1, Snape saves Harry from Quirrell at the Quidditch
match. I wouldn't put it beyond Voldemort's ability to have known what
Snape did. If anything, there is the possibility. Given this, if Snape
were to get back under Voldemort's good graces it would take some major
hem kissing.
