In England they allow anything up to first cousins to marry - hence my
two heads and cloven hooves (my mother's parents were first cousins;
two of my great grandparents were sisters).

In the magical world, I can imagine some people marrying (or coupling
with) their own parents, so even if Harry turns out to be a black-haired
recessive-gened Weasley, there is a glimmer of hope for Ginny!
