Now *that* is an interesting theory...and it's very possible that
something will happen to Lucius Malfoy. After all, in GoF, we've seen
that Voldemort isn't exactly the "merciful" master the Death Eaters
think he is. Perhaps Lucius will screw up one day, Voldemort kills him,
and Draco becomes consumed with the need for revenge against Voldemort
and allys himself with Harry and the rest.

I would also be tickled if Draco got himself into a nasty situation and
was saved by *Hermione.* Wouldn't that just irk the Malfoys -- to owe a
debt of gratitude to a Muggle-born? Hehehe...kind of like Snape owning
a debt of gratitude to James Potter. :)

Something else I wanted to address was the question of who was killed
first -- James or Lily. When James comes out of the wand, doesn't he say
something to Harry like, "Hold on, your mother is coming. She wants to
see you."? Did James think Harry was surprised to see him first? Or did
James and Lily "switch places" inside the wand, so James would come out
first and help distract Voldemort so Lily could tell Harry how to escape?
