I doubt that the enthusiasm for HP will die simply because those 10yr
olds that book one was written for will age, just as Harry does. The
only problem I see is that the books are coming out quicker than the
intendend audience is. I'd hate to see the time between new books grow,
but the young audience needs a change to mature so they thoroughly
understand what is really happening to Harry. By this I mean the essence
of Harry... not simply the things that he does and what happpens to him,
but his though processes. I think that is where the kids will truely
learn from Harry. Literature is a blueprint of life... and Harry is
a prime example of how a young boy grows up without a family. This is
great because there are too many children out there that are missing one
or both of their parents. Harry has common sense and uses it. Hopefully
the young audience that is reading HP will catch on and use theirs!
