This will be a discussion of Charlie Weasley. In it I will refer to
PS and GoF. I believe there is no mention of him in either CoS or PoA
(if this is incorrect then feel free to correct me).

Hopefully the message is coherent, it is 1am and I have been up since 8am
(which is far too early for a student during his holiday)!

In PS (chapter 6) we get told that Charlie has already been through
his education at Hogwarts. During his time their he was one of the best
seekers that have ever played for Gryffindor, and was the team Quidditch
captain. He has given Ron his old wand.

We are then told that Charlie is in Romania studying dragons. In chapter
8 Hagrid says that Charlie is great with animals. He pops up again in
chapter 14 as the solution to the problem of Norbert.

Charlie is short and stocky, with the trademark Weasley flaming red
hair. Harry recognizes him by the blisters and calluses on his hand. He
has a broad, good-natured face, which was weather beaten and so freckly
that he looked almost tanned. Muscly arms, with a large, shiny burn on
one (chapter 5).

We then go outside, where Bill and Charlie are 'setting up the tables
for dinner'. The fighting with the tables shows that Charlie is maybe
not as magically gifted as Bill but shares the twins sense of humour
and enjoyment of life. We also see his love of Quidditch.

We learn that Charlie failed his first apparation test (chapter 6). Before
going back to a Quidditch discussion in chapter 8 and then onto helping
the ministry in chapter 9 and that he snores!

He is next seen in chapter 19 when we meet the dragons. We see that he
knows Hagrid thoughts when the dragon eggs are seen and his knowledge
of the dragons. His last appearance in the book is in chapter 20 where
he congratulates Harry and then runs off to send an owl to Molly to put
her mind at ease.

This leaves the rest of you with the task of discussing Charlie.
